How we handle your information

1. Data we collect

When you register or use REAL NOW, we collect:

  • Account: name, email address, password (hashed).
  • Usage: addresses queried in /entorno, zones viewed, searches (to improve the service and limit API abuse).
  • Payments: provider tokens (Recurrente — LATAM gateway with PCI compliance). We do not store card numbers.
  • Brokers: ID, NIT, professional license, photo of DPI/passport (only admins access for verification).
  • Broker inquiries: user's name, email, phone and message about a property of interest. Shared with the listing's broker.

2. Data we do NOT collect

  • Live browser geolocation (everything geocoded is what you type).
  • Biometric data.
  • Detailed financial information beyond payment tokens.

3. How we use your data

  • To deliver the service (analytics, searches, broker contact).
  • To verify broker identity before publishing listings.
  • To detect abuse, fraud or misuse.
  • To send you service communications (review notices, price changes in saved zones, bulletin).

4. Who we share data with

We do not sell personal data. We share:

  • With brokers: the inquiries you send about their properties.
  • With service providers (Google Maps Geocoding API, Google Places, payment provider) — only what is needed for the feature to work.
  • With authorities, when there is a valid legal requirement in applicable jurisdiction.

5. Retention

Account data is kept while the account is active. Search data is anonymized after 24 months. Broker IDs are kept while your profile is active and up to 2 years after by regulatory requirement.

6. Your rights

You can request access, correction or deletion of your data by writing to hola@armku.us. We process requests within 30 days.

7. Cookies

We use session cookies (authentication) and basic analytics cookies. We do not use third-party advertising tracking cookies.

8. Security

HTTPS site-wide, passwords hashed with PBKDF2, ID files visible only to admins. No system is 100{}ecure; report incidents to hola@armku.us.

9. Changes

If we update this policy, we notify at least 14 days in advance by email.
